Yes, yes I know almost a month since the show… it was a helluva ride home!

So as most of the show goers found out, we debuted our new Steamroller 200 amp at the Nashville Guitar and Amp show.  This is a monster of an amp suitable for guitar or bass, delivering a solid 200 watts RMS via four KT88 power tubes.  Full Specifications can be found here.

We met some excellent people at the show, first in foremost our fellow amp engineers and pedal makers, brothers in the fight for tone, it was great to meet all of you.  We had a steady flow of incredible players and it was a pleasure to make everyone acquainted with Steamboat.  We had an especially fun time hanging out with Manny and Michael Vance, who played on some of the jams downstairs, and kept our room rockin’ until midnight every night.

While enjoying the last of our break from the brutally hot weather in Texas, we stopped by Third Man Records to deliver the very first Steamroller 200 to Jack Lawrence (Bass player of The Raconteurs, Dead Weather, and the Greenhornes).  Jack also spec’d out a custom bass cabinet with…get this… a 1×10, 2×12, 1×15 combination.  Holy shit!

A quick trip to Grimey’s records and we were on our way back home…
