Howdy ya’ll,
Mild Bill here again with more cabinet work. 2012’s been somethin’ else. Here’s a few projects that have been keeping me all too busy:
The first 4 Tugboat Classics are coming along nicely. These open-back 4/8 watt combos will feature all class A circuitry and premium 10″ speakers; perfect for studio work, small gigs, rehearsal, and the bedroom boogie. Here we see the beauties in their birthday suits, ready to get all wrapped up

The first cab I finished this year was this creamy “Carolina blue” D2x12 for Great Southern Music. This guy’s loaded with two Atlas hemp modified Celestion V-30s, and sounds killer.

This red dude actually got shipped last year, but I don’t think I’ve posted anything about it yet. This is actually a detuned 1×12 with over-sized dimensions and extra beefy construction. The customer already had the dimensions he wanted, I just made it happen.

Finally, my most recent project: The first Steamboat Installation!
The lovely pair of Robins over at Double Trouble Caffeine and Cocktails commissioned me to build what are now the first set of Steamboat Hi-fi speakers. These cabs were built mostly out of recycled wood, and feature all U.S.A. made components, specifically Eminence 10″ woofers, titanium tweeters, and crossover network. So duh! Go in there, grab a drink, tip well, sit in the center of the white couch, and tell them to turn it up!
